Interesting idea. It would work for End, but nano already knows
a smart Home key (alternatingly to the first nonwhite character
and the first column) which makes that it can be pressed twice
quickly to get to the first column. So if this feature gets added,
it would have to be put behind an option, not a default.

Are Alt-\ and Alt-/ not good enough? Once I learned about them,
I found them quite easy to use. And are there other Ctrl-combos
from WP that you are missing in nano? Ctrl-Left and Ctrl-Right
now work. For Ctrl-Up and Ctrl-Down I was going to propose to
jump to the previous/next blank line (not paragraph, because
Alt-9 and Alt-0 already do that), but haven't gotten around
to that. What could Ctrl-PageUp/PageDown do?
