I don't think that is needed. Things ought to be read in their context.
This is 'man nanorc', describing bindable functions within nano, that are
bindable only in menus within nano. It ought to be obvious that "prompt"
refers to something within nano. Adding "not the shell prompt" might even
be confusing, because it could give the impression that this would even be
possible in some places.

I think it will be better to add a cross reference to 'matchbrackets' instead.
