Follow-up Comment #6, bug #61705 (project octave):
I see
x = []
x([]) ==> 0x0
x(logical ([])) ==> 0x1
so the behavior appears to be different (and incorrect) when performing
logical mask indexing.
If possible, this problem should be fixed without adding new special cases.
