Rik, thanks for the prompt support. I am using Qt 5.15.5.
I am using -svgconvert option because the qt toolkit, being opengl-based,
generates postscript which is limiting fonts. But I need at output a pdf with
Times New Roman.
I have written a simple python script (test.py) to convert the tst_latex.svg
file to pdf by using Qt and I don't see the problem. I am not familiar with Qt
so maybe something is missing in replicating exactly the code implemented in
octave-svgconvert.
I am able to compile octave for testing.
