Follow-up Comment #56, bug #62847 (project octave): Thanks for testing. The UNC path corresponding to the mapped network drive doesn't end with a file separator for Philip or me (see comment #14 and comment #15). But it looks like it does for you (see comment #51). I pushed a change here that removes any trailing file separators from the UNC path that corresponds to the mapped network drive: https://hg.savannah.gnu.org/hgweb/octave/rev/f111d1caa73d I hope that way we don't need to change any of the subsequent logic.
