Team 4:  it sounds like you mistakenly believe this to be the way to contact
the professor of a course teaching you with Octave.  This is the official
Octave big reporting forum.  We have no association with your class or
professor.  This is also not the appropriate forum for general discussion
about performance of your code unless you have a specific concern that there
may be a simple thing wrong with Octave.

A better place for general discussion of your code’s performance with the
Octave development team might be https://octave.discourse.group . However, I
suggest you find the correct way to reach out to your professor.

is given.
