[Octave-bug-tracker] [bug #61393] [octave forge] (sparsersb) Crash while

From: Markus Mützel
Subject: [Octave-bug-tracker] [bug #61393] [octave forge] (sparsersb) Crash while "pkg test sparsersb"
Date: Wed, 19 Oct 2022 12:34:40 -0400 (EDT)

Follow-up Comment #36, bug #61393 (project octave):

The maximum attachment size is pretty small on Savannah. And IIRC, the error
message if it is exceeded is not very helpful (if there even is any error
message).

Thanks for providing a tarball with updated files.
I compiled the clean tarball (without any additional patches) in MXE Octave.
And it successfully finished building! Including librsbpp! 🎉

However, when trying to rebuild the sparsersb package with the updated
package, it failed again with the errors about undefined references to zlib
symbols. (Identical to comment #9.)

I'm attaching the generated `librsb-config` script in case that helps.

Independent from the missing `-lz` when building the sparsersb package: It
looks like that script contains hardcoded paths from the build system. That
might lead to issues when it is installed on the host system where the paths
will likely differ.
