[Octave-bug-tracker] [bug #39552] quiver/quiver3 ignores scale with only

Subject: [Octave-bug-tracker] [bug #39552] quiver/quiver3 ignores scale with only one point to plot

Follow-up Comment #20, bug #39552 (project octave):

stripping out the last three inputParser commits didn't change anything with
the segfault. so it goes back further than that. I'm not set up for stepping
through/debugging compiled code, so can't step through to see what line in set
is triggering a segfault . I can maybe work on better input validation (any
input validation) for quiver, but i think it's supposed to take any normal
plotting name/value parameters, so a bit limited in restricting things there.
but i'll give it a look.

so two issues so far:
1) invalid input to set is triggering a new segfault where it used to error.

2) one error is being reported as occurring at the wrong place. I think I
recall this coming up before but not sure what bug # it might be under.
