Follow-up Comment #7:
I would say that my patch does fix this bug report as the title is "Incorrect
result from reshape" and reshape() now does correctly return a 0x0 object for
sparse inputs.
Whether Octave's signal handling should be changed feels like a separate issue
report, or a discussion on Discourse.
Marking this bug as Fixed and closing report.
