I re-installed Octave to version 8.2.0 using Homebrew on a Mac Laptop running
Mac OS Ventura 13.3.1.  The command line editing works fine when running the
CLI, but it does not work when running the GUI either with either 'octave
-gui' or 'octave --line-editing --gui'.  The emacs command work fine in the
Editor window but not in the Command Window.  I have 'set editing-mode emacs'
in the .inputrc file.
