Follow-up Comment #4, bug #61978 (project octave):

I'm started on backporting the latest cap_ffmpeg_impl.hpp from OpenCVs 4.x
branch, see

currently it compiles and runs on Debian Bullseye (11) with ffmpeg 4.x and
Bookworm (12) ffmpeg 5.x.

I'm happy if someone joins for testing/patching.
