Probably not. Since this is a change in the basic innards of Octave, it will
go to the default branch. The nightly builds are from the stable branch.

The work-around until Octave 9 is released is to install Octave at a path with
only ASCII characters on Windows. (Same for .m files.)

There are MINGW64 build artifacts from the default branch that you could
download for MSYS2 though. See the Wiki for instructions on how those could be
used:

I'd like to give others a chance to have a look at those changes (and maybe
think them through myself again) before pushing them. So, it might take a
couple days before they'll be pushed.
I'll leave a comment here when they are in the repository.
