Follow-up Comment #7, bug #64513 (project octave):

This sounds like a duplicate of bug #53860.

The sad truth is: No one who's still around knows how to update the
documentation for Octave core on SourceForge. So, unless someone will take the
time to dig into how that would work, that bug will probably remain open.

It doesn't help if we keep a report open for each single function for which
the documentation on SourceForge is outdated.
The only work-around for the time being is to stay away from the documentation
for core functions on SourceForge.
