Follow-up Comment #3, bug #64671 (project octave):

Thanks for the responses, I appreciate it!

I did change the name of the script file, but it doesn't contain a built-in
function name (to my knowledge).  I'll try changing it to something completely
innocuous and see if that helps.

Additionally, I tried it and the issue with typing in the command window DOES
only happen after I've run the script.

Again, thanks for the help.  I have little to no experience with programs like
this/just starting to learn how to troubleshoot issues.
