[Octave-bug-tracker] [bug #64735] `pkg load io` crashes Octave GUI with no error

Follow-up Comment #3, bug #64735 (project octave):

The only thing I see which gives me some concern is that the install path has
spaces with either "GNU Octave" or "Program Files", which has been a
complicating factor in the past, but that by itself shouldn't cause such an
unceremonious exit.

Do I understand correctly that the io path in comment #0 and the path in
comment #2 were from different installations during your reinstallations?

Are you able to load other packages? (Try ones that don't use the io package).
If you get such a crash for multiple packages we will at least get some bug
isolation.
