Follow-up Comment #19, bug#65277 (group octave):

I make similar observations to what jwe reports in comment #16.
__run_test_suite__ is very slow in the GUI.

* __run_test_suite__ in CLI:   7:20 
* __run_test_suite__ in GUI:  44:25 (mappers.cc took over 200s!)

Maybe related, when "save & run" an editor file, it takes a very long time
(approx. 5s) until the related command is shown in the command widget and the
script is actually processed.
