Follow-up Comment #3, bug#65312 (group octave):

"If I un-check "Synchronize Octave working directory..." in the File Browser
settings, _run_test_suite_ does not hang and runs normally."

Yes, I found the same.  I'm still not sure why this is not an issue if I build
with Qt5 on the same system.
