[Octave-bug-tracker] [bug #65431] crash after hgload certain data

Follow-up Comment #60, bug #65431 (group octave):

As was pointed out in the other report about input ordering, properties were
very poorly defined in octaves documentation for graphics properties. That
was almost Lou remedied recently and will be better documented when octave 9.1
is released. That documentation will specify cdata and facevertexcdata forms
following the Matlab published documentation. That specifies the forms we’ve
been describing here, and I believe I posted a copy of to that other bug
report. That’s the minimum “requirement” - to be compatible with their
published Docs.

If you can point to documentation stating that cdata must be able to take the
input forms of fvcd, we can look at adding that to the requirement. Otherwise,
“it doesn’t say you can’t” is not a requirement. It might be a nice to
have, but there are “costs” involved with maintaining support for
undocumented, changeable features.

So for now, we focus on getting the published compatibility without crashing.
