Follow-up Comment #2, bug #65559 (group octave):

Oh wait, version 10.0.0 works for me, but version 9.1.1 does not. Here,
savepath only adds

## Begin savepath auto-created section, do not edit
## End savepath auto-created section

to .octaverc but misses to write the lines with the addpath() functions with
the load path's additional directories.
