Follow-up Comment #2, bug #65610 (group octave):

While looking into this, I noticed that when trying to add a breakpoint to a
method of a classdef class that doesn't exist, Octave crashes with a
segmentation fault.
That shouldn't happen.

To reproduce:

dbstop @inputParser/baz
