[Pan-users] threads won't collapse

I'm running pan-0.11.2 under RH 7.3.

For no apparent reasons, all threads on all subscribed groups are
expanded. Clicking collapse threads under the view menu has no
effect. In Edit, Preferences, Display Threads, the button to expand
threads by default is not clicked.

Have I run across a bug or simply missing some obvious configuration?
