[Pan-users] Is there any way of increasing the socket timeout on connection to news server?

I get this because my ISPs news server is very slow to make the initial
connect:

** (pan:20264): WARNING **: Timed out waiting to read from the server.

I need to get this up to (say) 120 seconds as the server can easily take
60-70 seconds to respond at busy times.

I'm using 0.13.2 under FreeBSD 4.7R.
