I have written such a patch recently - it's a simple extension of the
posting profile, where you can enter the language code (e.g. 'en' or
'de'). How do I submit it? Translations would have to be updated, too.
Unfortunately, I can't profit from the patch myself, since I'm using Pan
for Windows :-(. With much effort I got Pan to compile and run, even with
spell checking enabled, but I can't get aspell to work. It always
complains that it can't find the word lists... (but an 'aspell dump master
en' from the command line shows that they are installed correctly).
