The problem is (probably!) that the files that belong together do not
have a consistent file name set. There can be file names in up to 3
places: the subject of the post, the yEnc header line, and the subject
in the NZB file.
There is an issue and a merge request here,
https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/pan/-/issues/110, which fixes this
partially. It seems that there are postings that are even more messed
up which are not fixed by this.
If you still have your parts files, and possibly the NZB file, you can
check how the situation is in your case. I'd bet that the file names in
the various places differ.
