I encountered a strange behavior with ArduIMU. The Arduimu works fine with the new firmware but i found a problem when bench testing the plane. On the bench, in AUTO1 and without GPS lock, i move fast the sticks and after a few seconds the attitude stabilization stops working.
I still can move the control surfaces by using the sticks (always in AUTO1) or change modes but the plane does not respond when i roll or pitch the plane by hand (in AUTO1) until i power cycle the autopilot. Also sometimes instead of loosing the stabilization completely,
when i move the plane fast with my hand (without moving any stick) the servos twich a few times radomly after a couple seconds but when i stop moving it the stabilization comes back and the servos calm down. All the servos get their power from an external BEC so there is no chance of a power reset.
Tomorrow i will fly it so i will know if this is because the plane does not actually fly or there is a software problem. I have not tried this with the older Arduimu firmware. Chris
