Hi,

I completely agree with David, search is a must and loosing the past would be a pity.

Why or how did forums fail? Fusor.net and others have a forum, so things get sorted into topics, hence paparazzi could group things that have to do with theory, group all Lisa or all STM related things, could have a newbee and introduction section, a section for discussion of other systems like Arduino, which would not get in the way with other discussions and who only cares for certain topics can easily ignore what he doesnt care for. A multicopter and a section for normal models, a section for remote controls and communication and one for sensors and one for gps could exist. A section for user pictures and a trading post may also be nice.

For Fusor.net for example, this works very nicely, so I was surprised that forums didnt work for paparazzi, what was the problem?

Anyone who has not searched the archives should. There are so many things answered and discussed over and over again. New members should first search before writing the list for this reason. Most newbies will fond their answers there.

Now moving to a new way (Google) would to me seem to need to also bring along that history in some form to avoid repeatedly answering already discussed topics. Is there a way? Do I make sense?
