Thank you for your suggestions. Lets see, what to do - since I'm not in a hurry, I could try both. Anyhow I'll have to wait for the beaglebone black to become available.

Have a nice weekend

I believe the latest gumstix linux have SPI-master enabled by default (without LibEvent though).

Latest paparazzi master still runs perfectly on Lisa-L.

I'm glad to see interest for that (ancient..) board. I don't think I have a ready made BOM and I'm afraid some parts might be obsolete, but let me know if you get stuck.
Also maybe check that code still exists to run on it. The SPI channel between the processors was a bitch to setup but ran very smoothly. On the gumstix side it would require some patching of low level board files to enable SPI.
If I was to redo it, I'd use a beaglebone black rather than a gumstix.

Hi everyone,

planning to assemble some Lisa/L soon (want to use the Gumstix and have plenty of space), I have to order the parts. Before starting to search the parts at digikey, I was wondering, if somebody did that before an could send the BOM to me or put it to the wiki?

Thanks in advance

Christoph
