Precisely, we shouldnt break it. It would be unfair. I agree...

Thats the point. It would be easyer in the long run for existing 
head-xslt compliant apps to port to nextgen, than for everybody to go 
for head-xslt  and then go all over again to some other, better xslt 
support.

But the main thing here is support headlike xslt until it makes sense 
for legacy (like yours r CK) apps to port to nextgen.
