hey Tim,
This seems like a apache2+winxp issue. I do not know of anyone else using this
combo. Are there any errors in you php or apache logs? Also did you look at
the suggested doc for you php.ini?
Cheers

I have updated to the current stable cvs, but still cannot complete the setup
procedure. I can complete the header setup, but when I go into the config
section, any time I try and use any of the buttons it returns me to the setup
login screen.
Some things I have tried:
*Tried db sessions instead of php4.
*Tried non-persistent connections.
*Turned off mm as my session handler in php.ini.
*Tried different browsers - IE6, Mozilla 1.0
When I complete the setup using my apache 1.3.26 installation, I can then log
in OK, providing I don't have the calendar module installed.
Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

Hey Tim,
It is in both head and stable. If you are using a tarball install it is
already tagged as stable branch so it should just grab the updates from cvs.
Hey Pierre,
Which version did you use for the update?
btw I would recommend another cvs update ... using the commands below as we
have committed a lot of fixes in the last few days.
Let me know how you get on.
Also I would suggest that you compare you php.ini to
http://savannah.gnu.org/cgi-bin/viewcvs/phpgroupware/phpgwapi/doc/php-configuration.txt?rev=1.1&content-type=text/vnd.viewcvs-markup
Cheers

I still cannot complete the setup process under apache2. Skwashd, were your
fixes put into the HEAD branch, or the Version-0_9_14-branch ? Is there a
patches branch for 0.9.14?

There have been a few fixes in cvs for apache2 support. Please run a cvs
update:
# cd/path/to/phpgroupware
# cvs -z6 update -Pd
Let me know how you go.
Cheers

phpGroupWare currently does not support Apache 2. As the .14 release is out i
doubt very much that apache 2 support will be included, although this is not my
call.
I hope that the next release will support apache2.
At the moment phpGW will run on Apache 1.3.x (pref 1.3.26+ for security) and
PHP 3+ (4.2.x requires register globals=on)
Cheers

I have the same problem and have almost the same platform Linux/Apache
2.0.40/MySQL/PHP 4.2.2.
The problem started when I was using phpgropware 0.9.13 and upgraded apache to
2.0.39. PHPGroupware stopped working. Then I upgraded apache and phpgroupware
and the problem remains.
Is there any issue related to apache 2.0?
If apache 2.0 is not suported is there a prevision when it will be?
Thanks.
Roger

you have created the phpgroupware database and user and entered these correctly
in the header manager?

I also had this problem. My problem was that I was trying to run phpGroupWare
on Apache 2.0.39. As I now understand it, phpGW is not yet tested on Apache
2.x. I downgraded to 1.3.26 and all was well.
Hope this helps.

If I use last version 0.9.12 the database is created and I was stopped at login.
So I install 0.9.14RC4 and setup detect 0.9.12 database and ask to update it.
And I am stopped also.
I am very disappointed to cannot use phpgroupware.
Nobody can help me ?
