=================== BUG #2927: FULL BUG SNAPSHOT ===================
http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?func=detailbug&bug_id=2927&group_id=509
Submitted by: kimg Project: phpGroupWare
Submitted on: Tue 03/25/03 at 15:36
Category: email Bug Group: 0.9.14.002 release
Severity: 5 - Major Priority: None
Resolution: None Assigned to: None
Status: Open Component Version: None
Platform Version: Linux - RedHat Reproducibility: Every Time
Summary: I cannot read my incoming mail due to strange PHP warnings
Original Submission: First my platform info:
PHP 4.3.1
Php GW 0.9.14.002
mysql 3.23.54a-4
apache 1.3.27
redhat 8.0
sendmail 8.12.8-1.80
imap imap-2001a-15
that's it.
I have 'Register_globals' set to On in my php.ini file and i have verified that
it is so running phpinfo before starting phpgw.
First i can send mail from phpgw to people outside my organisation, and i know
for sure that my sendmail / imap server is correctly configured.
when i try to read my mail usin PHPGW i get some PHP warnings:
--------
Warning: arsort() expects parameter 1 to be array, null given in
/mnt/progs/apache_1.3.27/htdocs/phpgroupware0914002/email/inc/class.mail_dcom_imap_sock.inc.php
on line 1149
Warning: Variable passed to each() is not an array or object in
/mnt/progs/apache_1.3.27/htdocs/phpgroupware0914002/email/inc/class.mail_dcom_imap_sock.inc.php
on line 1154
----------
I know for sure that PHP GW kan actually see the messages on the IMAP server
since i get an entry for every mail on the server.
But PHPGW shows it like this:
in the 'From' field it contains an '@' and nothing else
in the 'Subject' fields it shows 'No subject' even though i know that the
subject field is filled.
The 'date' field contains the timestamp of the last refreshing of the e-mail
screen and not the timestamp of the e-mail.
I see this behavior whether i use US/eng or Danish language support.
I've only used the 0.9.14.002 release so i don't know if i woild have
encountered this problem on eralier releases.
What bothers me is the i don't think i'm the only one sending mails from phpgw,
so another possibility is that i don't have a correctly configured phpgw system.
but i dont see how it could be done differently. i followed the manual and it
seems to be running OK otherwise.
Hope to hear from you soon.
best regards
kim gabrielsen
