Hello Dave,

Yes, I thought of the ACL interface for sitmgr as an
example. But it would depend on each app what data and
interface it wants to add to the category editing interface.
For example, in the news_admin I commited to HEAD, at the
moment there are three different entries in the admin menu
(Define Categories, Define ACL, define RSS exports). It
would be nice if the second and the third, could be done as
an appendix to the first.
This means that uicategories.edit would have to know for
what app it would edit the category, and it would call a
hook like hook_edit_category, that would tell it what
interface to display, similar to the hook_config.
It is not that important, and I do not know, how much work
it is to implement, and if other apps are interested in this
too.

Hey Michael,

So you want a ui widget for this?  Would this be provide
sitemgr style ACL controls?  I think this would be good ...
it could even just be a flag for admin manage cats.
