That's it.

I didn't think it was a bug.

I guess the different behaviour was introduced here:

https://git.savannah.gnu.org/cgit/pspp.git/commit/src/ui/gui/psppire-output-view.c?id=022faa5986fdeae5adb7be043e8a82e98db23098

to improve copy&paste with Openoffice. When I copy&paste a table on MacOS, then
this results in text also in libreoffice.

Hi,

thank you für your fast answer. I know that. But it is not a good solution if the table
is wide. In this example I have to use 8pt as size to get it correct. And the
"lines" looks not 100% correct.

It is not as convenient as with a graphic that I can label for a list of
figures.

I checked my former reports (March 2023): I'm sure that I could chosse a
graphic-Format (bmp).

Something else seems to have changed.

- When I selected html via the export function (in 2022), png files were created next to
the html file and tables were exported as graphics, namely "Name-Number.png".
Now an html file is created and the tables are displayed as text.

- If I export tables in png format, files are created with the name format
"Name.png-Number". So I first have to change the extension to "png" to be able
to view the file.

Greetings

Hi,

The table is transferred during copy&paste as text. It works somehow if you
change the font to a fixed length font like „Courier“. However there is no „table“
or „html“ format in the clipboard.

Hello,

If I remember correctly, in an earlier version I could select a table in the
out window by clicking on it and then copy it with Ctrl-C, and then paste the
selection as a graphic. In my version, I can paste the selection as text, but
no longer as a graphic. Any idea how I can create 1 graphic for a table to copy
and paste without exporting?

Thank you and best regards

Andreas Hammer
