Details:

To help in preservation, discovery, reuse, and attribution of software, one of
the most robust solutions so far is the CodeMeta project, which is also
supported by Software Heritage
<https://www.softwareheritage.org/2020/03/18/codemeta-community>, ASCL
<http://ascl.net/webhooks/manual> and many other initiatives, like the FORCE11
<https://github.com/force11/force11-sciwg/blob/master/CodeMeta_Task_Force.md>.
CodeMeta uses the JSON linked data (JSON-LD) notation to store metadata about
the software project.

To have a CodeMeta entry in Maneage, I just defined a new 'codemeta' branch in
the 'project-dev' of Gitlab <https://gitlab.com/maneage/project-dev>. As a
first commit in that branch, I added a first draft of the CodeMeta information
for Maneage. This has been automatically generated by the online CodeMeta
generator <https://codemeta.github.io/codemeta-generator>.

This is still not yet complete. For example, it has no copyright statement
itself, the description of Maneage is not very complete, and some entries may
be missing or incomplete, but its just a starting point to slowly fill it, in
due time. 

Once written, we should also add documentation in the customization checklist
for Maneage users to replace the 'codemeta.json' file with their own
'codemeta.json'.
