I wasn't able to capture it doing this at the time. But it is doing
it off and on and off and on all day today making it persistent enough
that I am seeing it routinely. I wanted to let you know that the
problem as become easier to see now.

I haven't been able to figure out out. This happens both on the older
Trisquel 9 cgit 1.1+git2.10.2-3ub and the current Trisquel 11 cgit
version 1.2.3+git2.25.1-1 which is a pretty good spread of versions.
I have purged the cache and restarted all with no difference. When
things are wonky both of the systems set up for this behave the same.
They both work together or gargle the links together. Inspecting the
cgitrc input file which includes the list of projects looks okay by
eye to me. Which is all just to say that I have been looking.

I am working toward upgrading the git server and bringing another
server online. I'll keep poking at this until the problem becomes
resolved but at the moment I have no idea why it is behaving this way.

Just wanted to give an update.

Bob
