Description:
EBScore is a framework for monitoring e-business
infrastructures. The main advantage is its unique
feature to meassure in a qualified end-to-end manner.
This software is already in use for more than 3 years,
in several large companies.
It is now Open Source.
It is written in perl and runs on any UNIX plattform.
It is developed on Linux and Solaris.
It has a extended web interface to show the actual
status of all monitored applications. EBScore is able
to monitor several aspects of e-business applications,
such as:

time to log into a service
memory consumtion of applikation servers, mainly tomcat
and jbos,
cpu,network and disk utilisation of involved servers,

To all monitores aspects, ebscore computes the
resulting availability, based on given service level
definitions.

Several monitors are included, the implementet
monitoring framwork, enables administrators with perl
know how,to write their own in a very short time.
