Hi Sylvain, I talked to Rob Savoye on the telephone and we figured out some things. Rob administrates the bug-dejagnu, dejagnu, and dejagnu-commit lists, and I moderate them. My password to these lists stopped working, too.It turns out that Rob and I were using different passwords. Rob just reset the moderator password on bug-dejagnu, dejagnu, dejagnu-commit, and the new password works for me. So I suspect that the *old* password that I was using to moderate several mailing lists was probably a master password (!). And Isuspect that some mailing lists also use this password as a per- mailing-list password, and some don't.
The master password in Mailman is the one of a mailing-list with a special name. So I doubt it has any side-effect on other mailing-lists.
I did not understand what conclusion you reached concerning this issue. Could you explain a bit more (sorry if I do not see the obvious points)?
This still leaves the address@hidden mailing list high and dry. I need someone to reset the administrator and moderator passwords on that list. And I need some way to authenticate myself to you to do that.
I just sent you a confirmation e-mail.I beg to suggest you create a GPG key and publish it to several public key servers (such as pgp.mit.edu) as well as to your Savannah account, as it really eases this kind of problems.
