I would defer this to Lorenzo who is the person reporting the results.

That was not my intention, so excuse me if you felt offended.
My point was that it seems that somebody chose Software A instead of
Software B allegedly because of security concerns.
Some other person performed a security audit of both Software A and
Software B and found that they were equivalent, thus invalidating the
reason given on why Software A was chosen.
Absolutely no intention to throw mud to any Software in particular.
