[Savannah-hackers] Anoncvs over SSH

I've just been poking through Savannah/Savane documentation for clues on
how to set up anoncvs over SSH. There's a document at
http://www.kitenet.net/~joey/sshcvs/ but that involves giving out a
private key -- which doesn't seem to be needed for Savannah.

How's it done? Am I missing a document somewhere which explains it?
Given the security implications, I'm a little reluctant to just try to
set something up for myself.
