it is written at the end:

> If your project already has an existing CVS repository that you want to move
to Savannah, make an appointment with us for the migration.

but maybe I misunderstood the scope of this statement.

If Savannah don't propose git migration for webpages please feel free to close
this item.

Just to give some background, I consider CVS to be a legacy of the past and I
wanted to move to git. I am not very proficient with CVS too, in the last
years I have worked exclusively with git.
