Hello. I am new to the list, but would like to report a
problem with the ibmtts output module and alsa. I'm trying speechd-el,
and notice that the speech is having a minor breakup every few seconds or so.
This
breakup is even more pronounced if I move to the oss module.
What can I do to solve this? Here are my specs:
Kernel version 2.6.26
Alsa-lib 1.0.17A
Sound card SB Live (snd-emu10k1)
speech-dispatcher 0.6.7
I tried with the pulseaudio output and it seems to work fine, but pulseaudio
introduces
quite a bit of latency.
Thanks,
Tyler
