Second Beta version for the 0.7.1 release

Peter,
Are you using the official beta 2 or a git snapshot?
When you use the git version,
try the following before building it:
git clean -d -f -x
autoreconf -i

I saw problems regarding the python bindings under gentoo as well when
updated to beta2.
After the cleanup the buildproccess was successful.

@william:
It would be nice to have a newer speechd version in gentoo.
Last version available is 
speech-dispatcher-0.6.7-r1

Have you writen a working ebuild for newer versions?
If done please can you sent me that ebuild?
