Whilst I haven't tried to follow that guide, or haven't looked at that guide
for a while, I am not sure what needs doing differently etc. However, I have
been thinking of writing a patch to force the ibmtts binary to be built as a
32-bit binary, should the user be building speech-dispatcher on a 64-bit
system, with ibmtts present, and pointed to by the various configure arguments.
This should help with the mess that one has to go through to use ibmtts on a
64-bit machine. Yes there is the issue of ensuring we have other 32-bit libs to
link against, but I think that this is solvable.
