yes, probably not to most quiet but to some "normal".

Use Case: <voice 1> Hello </voice1> <voice 2> World </voice2>

if you pick up voice1 and voice 2 from different synths
it is much probable that "loudness" of the voices will be different
where as user would expect to hear only a voice change.

I think it would be a good feature for SPD.
the same is true for the pitch and rate.
