Issues with pico

Hello,

I tried the daily package of Speech Dispatcher's master in Maverick, and had
these 2 issues with the pico module:

1. With the default volume (100), pico is very loud ("overflows").
2. If I switch languages for one time, e.g.:

spd-say -o pico -l de hello
spd-say -o pico -l fr hello

the second command always crashes the pico module (pidof sd_pico is empty).
