Yes, you're right. I just downgraded libao to 1.0.0 and I get
Cepstral and native espeak to both work with repeated tests of
spd-say. For further testing, I'll leave this combo running for a
while and spend some time in gnome thisafternoon and see how it goes.
I like being able to use both voices; things like live demonstrations
I think go better with a higher quality speech since you have to slow
them down for the general audience anyway.
