just interested in your comment where you say

Just wondering, are you saying that fenrir won't work with pipewire? I
find this surprising as so far I've not found a single pulse audio based
applicaiton which doens't work with pipewire. For example, I'm using
speech-dispatcher, emacspeak, IBM Viavoice, software dectalk and all the
new voxin vocalizer voices with pipewire with no problems.
This is on Fedora 39, which admittedly, is likely the most up-to-date
pipewire based distro. Just trying to understand if this is a problem
specific to that screen reader or a symptom of a possibly outdated
pipwire which could be resolved with an update?
