I have an up-to-date archlinux system here so think spd-conf cannot detect
pipewire so spd-say cannot speak.
I ran configure_pulse.sh in user and root directories and started fenrir
and it had all manner of aspell-plugin problems but have since installed
aspell-en and aspell so maybe those problems will have gone away.
