This is as pretty old version, perhaps it has been fixed since?

Version 1.0.0 is from Jan 12, 2017

The lastest release is 23.11 and was released in November 2023 (hence the version number).

List of releases: https://github.com/stumpwm/stumpwm/tags

Someone should probably update the list of releases on this page: https://stumpwm.github.io/download.html

This happens to me as well, but I thought it was a Firefox issue (haven't tried other window managers.) The issue does not happen on Chrome for me either.

I'm running Debian 11, and installed StumpWM 1.0.0 using apt.

I'm happy to provide other info should it help diagnose the issue.
