Hello,
Stable Tramp 2.0.47 has been released. Besides the usual series of bug
fixes, it offers a tramp-minor-mode, which supports compilation of
remote files. See documentation for details.
For production systems, it is recommended to upgrade to this
version. Recent Emacs 21.3.50 and XEmacs 21.5.b18 will be upgraded.
