OK, lets get this to work!!

Hello,

a couple years ago I tried to switch "tramp-default-method" from "ftp", to
"pscp" or "plinkx" but to no avail!!!   Michael Albinus tried to help me
debug this, but no luck!!!  So I sticked to the "ftp" method!!!

Now I'm in trouble since the server I'm connecting to doesn't accept ftp
connections anymore, for security reasons, they say!!!

I am now a few Emacs versions later and still have the same problem!!!  I
have Emacs 23.3.1 installed with the default version of Tramp.  In my
.emacs I have:

(setq tramp-default-method "pscp")
(setq tramp-verbose 10)
(require 'tramp)

tramp finds the remote server, prompts for the password and hangs.

Here is the tramp stuff from the Message buffer:

Tramp: Opening connection for address@hidden using pscp...
Tramp: Sending command `plink -l jeg002  -ssh actul01 && exit || exit'

Tramp: Waiting for prompts from remote shell
Tramp: Sending password
Tramp: Sending command `plink -l jeg002  -ssh actul01 && exit || exit'
Tramp: Found remote shell prompt on `actul01'
Tramp: Opening connection for address@hidden using pscp...done
Quit

If I open a shell in Emacs and paste:

plink -l jeg002  -ssh actul01 && exit || exit

I am prompted for my password and once entered I am immediately logged
on???

So what am I doing wrong with the tramp settings???
